Born in the early 1990s in the heart of Tirana's historic New Bazaar, Markata e Peshkut Ylli is the original chapter of one of Albania's most respected seafood families. Here the freshest Adriatic and Ionian catch is displayed daily on ice, chosen by guests and cooked simply — grilled, salt-baked, fried whole, or turned into hand-rolled pasta and risotti. The Pazari i Ri address is buzzing, market-style and unmistakably Tirana: locals at the counter, families at the long tables, plates of frittura mista shared with cold Albanian white wine.
